Although I can login to the forum, all of a sudden my username or email address are not recognized when logging into my account.
I need to do this because I need to do a reinstall of HS7 after 3 years because the samples have corrupted and gone crazy.

Are you trying to log in to your user account using the password of your forum account? According to this post https://forums.threebodytech.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1036 you have to make a new account for the user account system, NOT use your forum account.
After that, go find your H7S serial number from the email you received 3 years ago, and use the "bind serial number" option at the top of the page after logging in to the user account. I was able to add my H7S serial number this way and now I can download the program installer and sample installer.
