Nice ! I've only listened a few times, but I really like the atmospheric black sound you, maybe, were aiming for, at least that what it evoked to me . At 2:00 mn really nice part with the tapping and the pinch harmonic. Maybe the drums are a little bit too quiet though.

Some details would be nice: What Daw, VSTs, settings, articulations, what amp sims (H7S built-in or external), tracking (did you double track, or used the doubling in H7S), etc.

Thank your for your reply.

The Assault have a already a reverb, or did you add another reverb?

I find H7S amp sims a bit too weak (it sounds good in your mix, though), too "robotic", so I use the DI and my own signal chain: free plugins like LePou, Ignite, etc. combined with (free) IRs like Catharsis, GuitarHack and others . It could come from my very weak laptop (I don't know if it has an influence that dramatic), or my inability to optimize H7S built-in FXs (tones).

Did you program H7S or use a midi keyboard?

Didn't add an extra reverb, just turned the dials on the existing one a bit.. or maybe two bits.

Manually editing midis, my keyboard playing skills are zero. I rarely use midi keyboard (sometimes to see if I can come up with an interesting melody or something like that).

EDIT: here is the modified effect.

I was wondering: two reverbs, that could give some interesting sounds maybe (I didn't try) playing with some knobs!!!

That's how I compose too (I don't have a midi keyboard).
Nevertheless, your composition is original, especially, like I said before, the tapping rhythmic melody beginning at 02:00 mn until 03 mn, with the pinch harmonic.

Thanks for the FX.
