Ok I think I figured it out. Patterns playing are going to use their effects until you close out of the pattern window. Then it plays with whatever effects are currently active in "play mode".

Hi Guys! Love this instrument! I was able to make a pattern by dragging a midi clip out of Cubase into Heavier7 however it did not save the effect chain with my preset. When I drag back into Cubase (after a restart), it plays back totally clean without effects. Am I missing a step? can't find it in ...
